Nikita Koller (*2009) commenced violin studies in September 2024 with Prof Dr Robin Wilson at the Yehudi Menuhin School. He was previously taught by Liana Tretiakova and Inna Khriplovich in Zurich, and by Prof Zakhar Bron in Interlaken. In Summer 2024, Nikita was one of the few Junior Students at the Soloist Academy of the Verbier Festival, and in 2025, he was selected to the Morningside Music Bridge Summer Programme at the New England Conservatory Boston, and to the Keshet Eilon String Mastercourse.

Nikita is a top prize winner of several national and international violin competitions: David Oistrakh Violin Competition (2023, Astana, second prize), Artur Grumiaux (2022, Brüssel, second prize), Swiss National Youth Music Competition (2021-2024, first prizes). At age ten, he made his debut as soloist with a chamber orchestra (2020), and with a symphony orchestra a year later. He has since performed with several ensembles and orchestras, among them Zurich Chamber Philharmonie, Camerata Tchaikovsky (London), Gringolts Quartett, Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra Lyra (Vienna), Bayerische Philharmonie (Munich) at venues including KKL Luzern, Stadtcasino Basel, Palais Ehrbar (Vienna), Cuvilliés Theatre (Munich), Mozarteum Salzburg, and Carnegie Hall.

As a young talent, Nikita was invited to perform at the Verbier Festival (2024), Golden Festival Herrliberg (2023, 2022, and 2021), and attended masterclasses by Kolja Blacher, Ilya Gringolts, Michaela Martin, Augustin Dumay, Gabor Takacs-Nagy, Andras Keller, Ulf Wallin, Kirill Troussov, Priya Mitchell, Esther Hoppe, Sergei Ostrovsky, Klaidi Sahatçi, Bartłomiej Nizioł, Xiaoming Wang and Yin Ke. He is not only passionate about playing violin as a soloist, but is also very devoted chamber musician and plays in different formations.

Nikita is a scholarship recipient of the Lyra Foundation (Switzerland), Foundation Ruth and Ernst Burkhalter (Switzerland), the Verbier Festival Academy (Switzerland), Keshet Eilon (Israel), Morningside Music Bridge (USA), and Valdres Sommersymfoni Academy (Norway).
